What is your source? Planned Parenthood is the giant of pro-abortion activism today, receiving tens of millions of dollars from the federal government, and, thus, a huge supporter of Obama.

Two sources...These quotes come from Margaret Sanger's Autobiography published in 1938. Additionally, "The Liberal Case Against Abortion," by Vasu Murti is a collection of pro-life quotes from the liberal side of the aisle.

Also interesting is a quote from the Feminists for Life website, "For over a hundred years feminists have warned us that abortion is a form of violence and oppression against women and children. They called it 'child-murder' (Susan B. Anthony), 'degrading to women' (Elizabeth Cady Stanton), 'appalling' proof of 'the misery of the working class' (Emma Goldman), 'most barbaric' (Margaret Sanger), and 'a disowning of feminine values' (Simone de Beauvoir). How have we lost this wisdom?"

"Abortion has become the accepted way of dealing with unplanned pregnancies, and women who make another choice are viewed as odd, backward, and selfish. Across the nation three thousand crisis pregnancy centers struggle, unfunded and unrecognized, to help these women with housing, clothing, medical care, and job training, before and after pregnancy. These volunteers must battle the assumption that 'they're supposed to abort'--especially poor women who hear often enough how much we resent out tax dollars going to feed their children. To me it is very interesting that women like Susan B. Anthony who had to overcome much opposition and hardship and finally succeeded in gaining women's right to vote through a Constitutional Amendment after the Suffragette Movement were almost universally against abortion and saw it as a degradation of women.

Margaret Sanger also wrote, in a 1917 edition of "Family Limitations," that "no one can doubt that there are times when an abortion is justifiable" (p. 17). She further advised women to "douche with boric acid and to take quinine to prevent implantation." She clearly saw abortion as an acceptable form of birth control.

1. Planned Parenthood receives nearly $300 million in federal funding each year.

2. Planned Parenthood is the world's most prolific abortion provider.

3. There have been nearly 16 million black babies aborted in the United States since the passage of Roe v. Wade, in 1973. 50% of the abortions in the United States are performed on black women, even though the African-American population comprises only 12% of the population at large.

4. Margaret Sanger was a racist, and Planned Parenthood is the contemporary result of her attempt to limit the growth of the black and immigrant populations during her lifetime. Most regrettably, it seems to be working. This is eugenics in action.
